@katsugtgz . You say "setup-go v7 exports GOTOOLCHAIN=local" . Please explain why GOTOOLCHAIN was needed in the workflow file in PR berty/go-orbit-db#194 but not here. |
Bumps actions/checkout to v7, actions/cache to v6, actions/setup-go to v7, actions/upload-artifact to v7, and codecov to v7.1.1 across CI workflows. Brings benchmark, codeql-analysis, protobuf, and ssh-runner to the same majors, and moves codeql-analysis off codeql-action v2, whose node16 runner no longer runs. Release and buf-push workflows are left unchanged.

Updated the branch to also cover benchmark, codeql-analysis, protobuf, and ssh-runner workflows, and moved codeql-analysis off codeql-action v2, which no longer runs on current runners. Sorry for the churn. |

Updates the go workflow to current action versions.
Changes:
codecov-action v3 stopped running when GitHub sunset its node16 runner, so both coverage upload steps currently fail. The workflow already sets fail_ci_if_error: false, so a missing CODECOV_TOKEN on pushes stays non-fatal and fork PR uploads remain tokenless.
setup-go v7 exports GOTOOLCHAIN=local; the workflow pins go 1.26.4 from .tool-versions, which matches the go.mod requirement, so pinned legs are unaffected.
The pinned asdf-vm and json-to-variables steps are unchanged.
Validation: actionlint passes on the modified file.
Scope: .github/workflows/go.yml only.
