The route_type in calc_route should be one of "smoothed" or "dijkstra". However, the current behaviour is that failing to provide one of these, or a different value altogether, defaults to "smoothed".
For instance calling:
calc_route = route_calc(df=df, from_wp=from_wp, to_wp=to_wp, mesh=mesh.json, route_type="fuel")
Returns a smoothed route.
This should be caught, and an error returned when the user fails to provide one of the valid options.
route_calc should also possibly be renamed to something more descriptive, like calculated_route or evaluated_route.
