- Add pkg/cache: thread-safe Cache with Set/Get/Delete/DeletePrefix/Clear/StartCleanup - Add full unit tests for cache package (TTL, concurrency, prefix deletion) - Add cachedCovidService wrapping CovidService with 15m/1h/24h TTL strategy - Add cachedRegencyService wrapping RegencyServiceInterface - Add CacheInvalidator interface for cache clearing - Add POST /admin/cache/clear endpoint protected by X-Admin-Key header - Wire cache in cmd/main.go: 1h default TTL, 5m cleanup interval - RegencyService field in Services struct now uses interface for flexibility
- Add comprehensive tests for cachedCovidService (cache hit/miss + error paths) - Add comprehensive tests for cachedRegencyService (cache hit/miss + error paths) - Add tests for AdminHandler ClearCache (success, wrong key, no key, empty env) - Coverage improved from 70.8% to 85.2% (threshold: 80%) Closes #78
Assign all error return values from cache-hit verification calls to satisfy golangci-lint errcheck rules.
- Add pkg/cache/redis.go with RedisCache and RedisAwareCache - RedisAwareCache: in-memory (fast reads) + Redis (distributed persistence/invalidation) - cmd/main.go: opt-in via REDIS_ADDR env var, graceful fallback to in-memory - docker-compose: added shared-infra network + REDIS_ADDR=redis:6379 - All existing tests still pass (go test ./pkg/cache/...)
