I am Ayesha, a security Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (UMass Amherst). I joined UMass Amherst in Fall 2025, where I am fortunate to be advised by Dr. Pubali Datta.
My research interest includes systems security, usable security and Large Language Models. I am interested in building secure and trustworthy systems that scale to real-world deployments. In particular, I explore how to identify and mitigate security and privacy challenges in large-scale systems, develop scalable techniques to address them, and design user-centered security mechanisms that help people make safer and more informed decisions when interacting with online platforms.
Before joining UMass Amherst, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in July 2024. Prior to beginning my doctoral studies, I served as a full-time lecturer in the Department of CSE at Presidency University, Bangladesh. Before that, I held the same position in the Department of CSE at the Canadian University of Bangladesh.
