I'm arooj, a Computer Science student specializing in Artificial Intelligence. My work sits at the intersection of AI, trustworthy and privacy-preserving machine learning, cybersecurity, and emerging computing systems.

These days I'm focused on:

  • AI/ML and trustworthy AI
  • Privacy-preserving ML and cybersecurity
  • Post-quantum cryptography and emerging computing
  • Research-driven projects and experimental systems

Some stuff I built:

  • RAG Urdu Faithfulness — Investigating faithfulness in low-resource Urdu RAG systems, focusing on model behavior under retrieval failure and self-abstention.

  • HE-Compatible Vision — Evaluating the accuracy–privacy trade-off of CNNs under homomorphic encryption, with targeted augmentation to reduce encrypted inference accuracy loss.

  • ICTA – Integrated Cyber Threat Analyzer — Cyber threat intelligence dashboard combining IOC analysis with network graph visualization.

  • Secure Notes — Full-stack encrypted note-taking application built with React, Node.js, and MongoDB.
