Overunity Extras

Optional desktop customizations for the Overunity theme. These are intentionally separate from the installable theme because they contain user-level plugin and configuration code.

Included

• Telemetry clock with graphical CPU, memory, and load meters
• Channel-style workspace widget
• Field-console menu and lock screen treatment
• 95% window opacity and tungsten active-window border gradient
• Overunity Starship prompt
• Daily wallpaper rotation systemd user timer
• Login notification hook

Install

Apply the base theme first:

omarchy theme install https://github.com/ariDev1/overunity
omarchy theme set overunity

Copy only the components you want. The plugins are user-owned and can be placed under ~/.config/omarchy/plugins/:

cp -r plugins/overunity.* ~/.config/omarchy/plugins/

Add these plugin IDs to the corresponding bar sections in ~/.config/omarchy/shell.json:

"overunity.menu"
"overunity.workspaces"
"overunity.clock"
"overunity.lock"

The source files in hypr/, hooks/, systemd/, and starship.toml are examples to merge into your own user configuration. Do not overwrite existing configuration files blindly.

To enable daily rotation after copying the systemd files:

systemctl --user daemon-reload
systemctl --user enable --now overunity-wallpaper.timer
