# Changelog

## Marketplace: kotlin-lib 1.0.0

- `kotlin-lib` moves from 0.4.0 (`aoreshkov/kotlin-lib-mcp` v0.7.0) to 1.0.0 (v0.9.1),
pinned to that tag and its commit.
- It runs the server on a JDK 25 or later instead of Docker. On first use the plugin
downloads the released server and checks its checksum. Its options are `java`, for a
`java` executable that is not on `PATH`, and `server_version`.
- Libraries are cached in the OS cache directory, not the `kotlin-lib-mcp-cache` Docker
volume, so each library is fetched once more after the update.
- New in the server since v0.7.0: deprecations in the index and `diff_api` for public-API
changes between two versions.
- The entry's description and the README requirement say so.

## Marketplace: oracle-forms 1.4.0

- `oracle-forms` moves from 1.2.0 (`aoreshkov/oracle-forms-mcp` v0.13.0) to 1.4.0

The `kotlin-lib` library cache and Oracle Forms annotations live in the OS cache directory,

## kotlin-lib

Gives Claude the published sources jar of any Maven Kotlin/Java library, parsed with the
Kotlin Analysis API: resolved signatures, KDoc, the dependency tree, version diffs and
source search, instead of what the model remembers. The plugin runs the server's Docker
image and adds skills that make Claude reach for it, plus `/kotlin-lib:api`,
source search, instead of what the model remembers. The plugin runs the server on your JDK,
downloading the released build on first use and checking its checksum, and adds skills
that make Claude reach for it, plus `/kotlin-lib:api`,
`/kotlin-lib:migrate` and a setup helper.

Documentation, tools and other ways to run it (release zip, IntelliJ, VS Code):
