I don't know if this will fix my issues or not, but it reflects what is done in the official Alpine image from docker.

Thanks for the PR! Based off of the extended description in your commit, does that change fix your issues?

I'm actually not sure, because I could not get docker to build an image from a dockerfile using a local image. :/

I think so. I've sorta lost track of the project this is for, and so long as this is still readable and appendable, it should be fine.

Note: LDC 1.10 is now out and I included dub since 1.9, so you don't need to build it yourself.
