I spent ten years in Bank of America Fixed Income, eventually as COO for four trading businesses. Then came fintech, startups and, somewhat unexpectedly, writing software myself.

Lately I have been working on software that can do useful work on its own, ways of finding small software businesses worth pursuing, and ways of making the evidence behind those decisions visible rather than hiding it inside a chat or a hunch.
