WeaveStudio is local-first, not offline-first and not sync-first. The normal workspace has no account/backend/cloud database; state is stored in browser localStorage, with user-initiated Project JSON/backup export + validated restore. I do not currently claim a service-worker/PWA offline cache, so I would not describe the hosted app as guaranteed to remain usable after first load without network access.

Likewise, there is intentionally no built-in multi-device sync or real-time collaboration today. Portability between browsers/devices is manual export/import. Optional OpenAI/Gemini requests are BYOK and explicitly consent-gated; they are outside the standard local workflow.

Those limitations are documented in the README/known-limitations material because I would rather have the list entry describe the actual architecture than stretch “local-first” into claims the app does not implement. Happy to tighten the proposed wording further if that helps the final review.
