👋 Hi, I’m Akhil
Frontend Engineer focused on building and evolving large scale web applications.
I work primarily with React and TypeScript, designing frontend systems that remain maintainable as products and teams grow. My work often sits at the intersection of product development, platform thinking, and architecture: structuring applications, shaping data flow, and ensuring performance and developer experience remain strong as complexity increases.
I enjoy working on systems where frontend decisions influence APIs, rendering strategies, and the overall development workflow.
Areas of Focus
Frontend Architecture Designing scalable structures for React and Next.js applications. Organizing codebases, defining patterns, and enabling teams to ship features without creating long term technical friction.
Performance Engineering Improving runtime performance, bundle efficiency, and rendering behavior in production scale applications.
Developer Experience Building tooling, conventions, and internal utilities that make complex systems easier for teams to work with.
Modern Web Platforms Working with composable architectures, headless systems, and API driven applications.

Engineering Approach
I tend to approach software systems with a few principles in mind:
Clarity over cleverness. Good abstractions should simplify thinking, not hide complexity.
Architecture should enable teams. The goal is not perfect structure, but systems that remain understandable as they evolve.
Performance is part of design. Decisions around rendering, data fetching, and component structure shape the experience long before optimization begins.

Art and visual composition strongly influence how I think about interfaces and design systems.
