I'm a software engineer who has built at all levels of the modern software stack, at all scales from startups to global enterprises, across different industries and verticals.
These days I spend much of my time in Rust, alongside Python and Ruby, working on massively-scaled, high throughput, low-latency distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, and data infrastructure. I also write about what I learn on Medium.

Most of my pinned work is in Rust—tools and experiments I keep coming back to:
- yaml-schema — Validate YAML documents against a YAML schema. Handy when you want declarative config with real guardrails.
- datu — A data file utility for working with common file formats from the command line.
- flt — A small functional language—an experiment in language design and interpreters.
- ghctl — A GitHub utility for managing repositories and workflows from the CLI.
