Canonical source for AgentMail's agent skills. Skills here are authored in this repository; every other first-party copy (Claude/Codex/Cursor plugins, product profiles, docs examples) is generated from it.

agentmail-sdk and email-for-ai-agents are deprecated aliases (identical generated copies of agentmail and agent-email-patterns) kept so existing installs and pinned URLs keep resolving — don't install them alongside their replacements.
PRs welcome against this repository — skill content merged here ships to installers immediately (npx skills add tracks main). Generated copies elsewhere are overwritten on the next export; don't PR those repos.
This repository tracks the generated public contract from
agentmail-mcp, not a manually
maintained tool list. When that manifest changes, synchronize from a local MCP
checkout and review every MCP-facing skill reported by the command:
python3 scripts/skills.py sync --backend /path/to/agentmail-mcp
python3 scripts/skills.py validate
python3 scripts/skills.py build --check
python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -p "test_*.py"A manifest digest change still requires review when no tool names changed,
because schemas, descriptions, annotations, authentication, or permissions may
have changed. After merging the canonical skills, export them into the plugin
repository instead of editing its generated skills/ tree:
python3 scripts/skills.py build --target /path/to/agentmail-pluginsImplementation-only MCP changes that leave the public contract and documented workflows unchanged do not require a skills release.
