Glowberry

Monumental ripe bakeapple (cloudberry) as a glowing sculpture — concept, feasibility notes, and open development toward a Newfoundland landmark.

Artist: Adam Simms

Glowberry continues a practice lineage with Cloudberry, Light House, and related works: presence, beacon, resettlement, and return to Pinchard’s.

What it is

A semi-opaque translucent orange fruit body with a soft heartbeat / breathing glow at dusk and night. Touchable, walk-around, not enterable. Site TBD (Avalon, Fogo, Bonavista, or another reachable NL place). Parallel track: ephemeral summer inflatable proof-of-concept.
