getFoldState() devolvía el estado vacío hasta que WindowInfoTracker emitía tras onHostResume, así que el primer render daba null y luego saltaba al estado real. La prop splitWhenWide divide start | end al 50 % cuando no hay bisagra que separe y la ventana mide al menos 840 × 480 dp (ancho expandido de Material sin alto compacto): tablets en horizontal, no teléfonos. Al abrir del todo un plegable, React reutilizaba la vista del panel start con el width de la bisagra y quedaba como base del flex (75/25 en el Pixel Fold).
