Problem and result

Some translated guides change the meaning or omit constraints from English. A Korean retry-backoff sentence reads like a blocking one-minute sleep; the lifecycle research summary omits collector safeguards and important evidence limits. This PR restores those details, corrects terminology and improves Japanese and English wording.

Scope and independent review

• Audited all 61 baseline Markdown documents (43 under docs/) in English, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese, plus three recovery instruction text templates.
• Revised 18 existing documents and added docs/validation/documentation-translation-audit-20261030.md with complete per-file coverage, terminology guidance and finding dispositions. Simplified Chinese documents were reviewed without forced cosmetic rewrites.
• GPT-6 Luna subagents independently compared translations and reviewed the final edits. Gemini 3.8 Flash Medium completed both a fresh full-corpus audit and a separate final review of all 18 revised documents, with no required corrections in the final review. Codex checked model suggestions against source; unsupported browser-cause claims and incorrect Markdown-heading suggestions were rejected.
• The reported “예비군” and “붓기” strings are absent from tracked source at the baseline. Their origin in the rendering experience was not reproduced; verified source defects are corrected here.

Validation

• git diff --check and python3 scripts/source_manifest.py --check passed.
• Local Markdown targets and anchors checked across all 62 resulting Markdown files: no missing targets/anchors.
• Existing fenced command blocks unchanged except the restored Korean lifecycle record, whose blocks now exactly match English.
• Documentation only. Executable sources, manifest, numerical policies and historical evidence remain unchanged. No deployment or signed release-asset changes. Local runtime suites were not rerun for prose-only changes; PR CI runs the required checks.

CI result

All checks passed at 9b7fff3609f595331609a66d1b3dba92bbc7a7f4: Python 3.11/3.13, Research Python 3.12/3.13, Shell syntax/ShellCheck, Python static checks and GitGuardian. PR is Ready and remains unmerged.
