Abdessamad Regragui

Graduate student in the MCT program at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, working on computer vision and applied deep learning.

Graduation project: an end-to-end pipeline for recognizing student behavior in classroom video — YOLOv8 detection, MediaPipe pose/facial analysis, DeepSORT tracking, and a CNN-LSTM temporal classifier, aggregated into engagement metrics via a Streamlit dashboard.

Also built: big data pipelines (Hadoop/HDFS, MapReduce, MongoDB, Redis), ML projects in face recognition (PCA/LDA + classifiers) and NLP misinformation detection, and full-stack analytics dashboards (Flask).

Currently: working on my first research paper, based on this project, and finishing my thesis.
