- Solder all passive components first (capacitors, resistors if any).
- Install connectors and switches.
- Add voltage regulators and verify orientation.
- Test each rail individually before inserting into a breadboard.
- Plug the module into your breadboard rails.
- Connect power via the barrel jack.
- Use the onboard switch to turn the supply on/off.
