Help wanted: anonymized HTML slide samples and usability testers for 1.1 #1

Description

@Zhenbei-Chan

Why this issue exists

HTML-PPT Editor is an Alpha Chrome extension for visually revising AI-generated HTML slide decks. The next release must be validated against 15 representative HTML samples and five target users before it can be called usable beyond the built-in examples.

We need

Anonymized HTML compatibility samples

Useful coverage includes:

  • Multi-page HTML presentations
  • Single-page or long HTML reports
  • Absolute, fixed, Flexbox, or Grid layouts
  • Navigation buttons and keyboard paging
  • External fonts, icon fonts, images, CSS, or scripts
  • Tables, lists, SVG, Canvas, charts, or animation

A failed result is useful. Please report the generator or framework, browser, page count, steps tried, and expected versus actual behavior.

Usability-test participants

We need five people who regularly edit presentation or report content but do not need to know HTML or CSS. The session will cover opening a file, editing text, moving one object, undoing a mistake, previewing, and exporting.

Privacy

Do not upload confidential business presentations, customer data, internal URLs, credentials, personal data, or unlicensed assets. Use an anonymized minimal reproduction. If a file cannot be shared publicly, report only its structure and the observed behavior.

How to help

  • Comment below with the type of sample or testing you can provide.
  • Follow the validation steps in docs/SAMPLE_VALIDATION.md.
  • After the repository templates are merged, use the HTML compatibility report form for a structured result.

Thank you for helping turn compatibility claims into evidence.
