Remove YouTube Playables

id like to be able to get rid of the YouTube playables section that pops up on the home screen

@illusionalDEX this feature already exists if you are using YouTube Enhancer and not Enhancer for YouTube this github isn't associated with that extension

thats my bad im using "Enhancer for YouTube" i searched for the github but seems i got the wrong one. but i might try this extension.

No worries, it is easy to mistake, When I made this extension I didn't even know about "Enhancer for YouTube" apparently I was living under a rock.

Thanks for considering my extension! If there's anything the other extension offers that you feel is missing here, I'd love to hear your suggestions. I'm always looking for ways to improve it.

im testing this and the problem im having is everything that i have set to hide tend to show up again refreshing.

Shorts for example also shows up in the side bar under youtube logo

Yea that's an edge case I didn't think about I can fix it very easily @illusionalDEX

fixed in dev, the next release will have it, Reviews take a long time on Firefox so I let fixes and features add up unless the fix is something critical

Can you tell me more specifically what things are showing up after refreshing? I can try to fix that

Shorts, playables, Members Only videos... it seems all the options show up for a minute then goes away

Would you mind letting me know which browser you're using and which version of the extension you have installed?

I'd like to look into the issues you're experiencing and get them fixed as quickly as possible.
