no longer lives in global tempdir/XDG_TEMPDIR this lets us find the generates files more quickly when running with NO_HEADLESS=1

Improves debugging (graphical output of the module graph for example) by putting the temporary directories with the emitted artifacts in the target directory instead of the systemroot
The same directory is used to prepare for more detailed test reports (with file sizes)
