So far, we have not been including event listeners in our "minimum accessible structure" snippets. These were intended to demonstrate a minimum component composition for accessibility.
Recommend removing the onChange listener, the checked attribute, and line 105's useState hook above.

These FormField bullets are already documented elsewhere, so I think it would be best to focus only on what the Switch component provides. Let's just do this:
- **`Switch`**: Renders a native `<input type="checkbox">` with `role="switch"`. The native `checked`
state is exposed to assistive technology as on or off, so no `aria-checked` is needed. Canvas Kit
assigns an `id` with `useUniqueId` unless you pass **`id`**.
- **Track, thumb, and check/x icon**: Purely visual. The icon is a Canvas Kit **`SystemIcon`**, whose
SVG markup sets `role="presentation"` and `focusable="false"`, so it is not announced.
- **`disabled`**: Maps to the native `disabled` attribute.

This code snippet duplicates the 'Ref Forwarding' example code, and isn't valuable context here. I've been shortening this section to something like this:
**Programmatic focus** _(conditional — omit by default)_:
Attach a `ref` only when the product must move focus to the Switch after an action. Do not attach a
`ref` or call `focus()` unless the design or developer asks for it. See
[Ref Forwarding](#ref-forwarding) under Usage for a complete Storybook example.

I think we can get rid of these 3 rows: Hint or error messages, error state, and caution state. These are all documented on the FormField docs as well. We can point to that in the summary below.

I would remove this bullet. This is impossible; the track, thumb, and check / x icons are internal, and not exposed externally.

A Switch can validly be off, so the basic example should not set isRequired. The minimum accessible structure can then match that example directly. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

Thanks Gautam! I pushed a couple of last minute changes because I noticed the code snippet under "programmatic focus" was duplicating another example that we already have. I also noticed the Basic example mistakenly had "required" set, so I cleared that up.
Summary
Resolves: N/A (docs initiative: accessibility guidance for AI codegen)
Adds an Accessibility section to the Switch Storybook page so generated usage matches the current FormField composition. The section follows the form-control pattern used by Checkbox and FormField: when to use Switch versus Checkbox, a minimum structure aligned with the Basic example, built-in behaviors (native checkbox with
role="switch", FormField name/hint/error wiring, keyboard, and screen reader expectations), a requirements table with a no-design-spec default and REQUIRED/CONDITIONAL summary, and anti-patterns. Shared FormField wiring is linked rather than repeated. Docs only; no component, example, or API changes.Release Category
