docs(action-bar): Updating some sections to match button docs - #4200
Conversation
Align Button docs with the Canvas Kit accessibility template: structure, built-in behaviors, requirements table, and anti-patterns scoped to variant buttons with correct Segmented Control and icon-only naming guidance. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
Expand the Action Bar accessibility docs to match the Button/Menu pattern: minimum structure, built-in behaviors (overflow, keyboard, screen reader), requirements table, and anti-patterns. Make plain MDX table cells opaque in Storybook so inline code is distinguishable from zebra striping. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Align Action Bar MDX with the codegen accessibility template, add Task Flow Dialog example, and fix MenuCard list-box selector for Storybook builds. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
…attern Remove TaskFlowDialog story/example; task flow guidance stays in accessibility only. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

preserve navigation when an item overflows: for an ActionBar.Item rendered as
Hyperlink, instruct readers to render its ActionBar.Menu.Item counterpart as a

- Line 80: Update the Action Bar accessibility overview and Keyboard section to
scope native-button and keyboard-operability guidance to button items, and
describe items rendered with `as={Hyperlink}` as links with link semantics and

Distinguish links from buttons in the accessibility overview.
If an item uses the recommended as={Hyperlink}, it renders an anchor, not a native button. Its link role and keyboard activation differ from the button behavior described here and in the Keyboard section. Scope the button guidance to button items, and describe navigation items as links. Preserve navigation when an item moves into overflow.
If an ActionBar.Item as={Hyperlink} overflows, its ActionBar.Menu.Item counterpart cannot follow this instruction: the link has an href, not an action onClick handler to copy. Menu.Item renders a button by default. Instruct readers to render the overflow counterpart as a link with the same href; retain matching handlers for button actions. Otherwise, the navigation item stops navigating when it overflows. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Remove Hyperlink/navigation docs, add anti-pattern for links in the bar, and describe button keyboard behavior without linking to Button docs. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
Place Dialog inside ActionBar.List so the opener stays registered as an action item, and keep the requirements table to accessibility rules. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

Looks great! I had to push one last change because I noticed the composition of the Dialog component around the ActionBar was wrong... so I fixed that and trimmed the requirements table a bit. (It's drifting into design and API stuff that is covered elsewhere in Usage.
