"Desenvolvido por GR InfoArt" -- footer.php, CarmoImoveis.com.br (still live today)
GR InfoArt was an informal web agency run by Gustavo Godoi and Vitor Rodovalho out of Anapolis, Goias, Brazil, from roughly 2005 to 2010. They built custom gaming PCs, designed websites on Mambo and Joomla, and managed Linux/Windows server infrastructure -- all while still in their teens.
Vitor was simultaneously a Civil Engineering student at UEG, where he served as Director General (President) of the CAEC student council and was the official web designer for the department under a formal UEG subdomain contract. GR InfoArt's work extended to the student organizations — the Empresa Junior had a formal web development contract with GR InfoArt (see movimento-estudantil-ueg).
This repository preserves the surviving work: two client websites, graphic design assets, and the business documents of a small-town Brazilian tech partnership from the mid-2000s.
CarmoImoveis.com.br -- Real Estate Website
A Joomla 1.0.15 site built for Carmo Imoveis, one of the oldest real estate companies in Anapolis (founded 1982, Av. Santos Dumont 460, Jundiai). The site is still active today -- over 40 years in business.
GR InfoArt built custom property search forms with AJAX, an image carousel gallery system, static pages for 10+ real estate developments, and branded the entire Joomla installation with Carmo's identity. The footer proudly reads: "Desenvolvido por GR InfoArt".
Tech stack: Joomla 1.0.15, PHP 4/5, MySQL, custom AJAX (XMLHttpRequest), Dreamweaver-generated JS, SiCADi real estate system integration.
DinaLopes.net -- Photography Portfolio
A hand-coded static HTML site for Dina Lopes, a uniform and tablecloth manufacturer. 28 photo gallery pages built with Dreamweaver templates, showcasing product photography. The design source files (CorelDRAW, Dreamweaver templates, raw BMPs) survive in Arquivos de base/.
Tech stack: Static HTML, Dreamweaver templates (DWT), table-based layout, Windows-1252 encoding.
Note: 3 pages (index.htm, empresa.htm, contatos.htm) are corrupted with binary data -- the damage predates all backup copies. The 28 gallery pages are intact and renderable.

In the mid-2000s, Anapolis (population ~350k) was a growing city in central Brazil. The web was still young in small-town Brazil -- most businesses didn't have websites, and those that did relied on local freelancers and small agencies. Joomla (and its predecessor Mambo) were the CMS of choice for this market.
GR InfoArt filled that niche. Gustavo and Vitor were self-taught, working from home, building everything from PHP websites to custom PCs. The Carmo Imoveis project was their flagship -- a real estate company that needed property listings, photo galleries, and search functionality years before platforms like VivaReal or ZAP Imoveis existed.
Vitor's dual role is notable: while running GR InfoArt commercially, he was also a Civil Engineering student at UEG, serving as Director General of the student council (CAEC) and holding a formal UEG contract as the department's official web designer. The student organizations' Empresa Junior even had a formal web development contract with GR InfoArt -- blurring the line between student activism and professional work. See the companion repos engenharia-civil-ueg and movimento-estudantil-ueg for that side of the story.
The name "GR InfoArt" combined their initials (Gustavo + Rodovalho) with "InfoArt" -- information technology meets art/design.
See CUSTOM_CODE.md for a detailed breakdown of which files are GR InfoArt's original work versus standard Joomla 1.0.15 core. In summary:
- GR InfoArt custom work: ~40 files -- search forms, AJAX library, CSS branding, JS interactions, property carousel, image gallery system, 10+ property pages, custom modules, footer branding, PSD design source files
- Joomla 1.0.15 core: ~3,000+ files -- standard CMS installation
- Third-party extensions: DOCman, JCE Editor, eXtplorer, JoomlaXplorer, phpMyAdmin, Remository, Zoom Gallery

Santos Dumont 460, Jundiai, Anapolis-GO.
