Adds an announcement built around a single screenshot of Version 3 in action: one click of run on a twelve-line text file, finished in 0.96 seconds, with the text, the parse tree as a graphic, the same tree as text, the marked-up entities, the knowledge base the run built, the seventeen passes, the dictionaries, and the timing breakdown all on screen at once. The picture carries the announcement -- "a picture is worth a thousand words." The prose only points at what is in it, and the Version 3 feature list is compressed to a single closing paragraph that links to the 3.9.0 version note for the full write-up. Help/markdown/vscode/announcements/2026-07-31-version-3-workbench.mdplus its screenshot. The announcement is built around a single image of Version 3 in action — one click of ▶ on a twelve-line text file, done in 0.96 seconds, with all of this visible at once:
"A picture is worth a thousand words" is the whole idea: the prose only points at what's in the screenshot, and the Version 3 feature list is compressed into one closing paragraph that links to the 3.9.0 version note for the full write-up.
