The /studio/ app pins NLPPlus and the vscode-nlp language server, so updates had to be remembered (#29). Now each new version arrives as a pull request for review; merging and deploying stay by hand.

  • Engine: .github/dependabot.yml has Dependabot propose each new NLPPlus for studio/server/requirements.txt, weekly, one PR open at a time.
  • Language server: .github/workflows/language-server.yml runs on vscode-nlp's existing upstream-release ping (plus Mondays and by hand). If the latest vscode-nlp tag differs from the one in SOURCE.md, it builds browserServer.js from that tag, updates SOURCE.md, and opens a PR. It skips if that bump's branch already exists.
  • The Studio workflow tests both kinds of PR. The language-server PR is opened with CLASSIC_PAT because a PR opened with GITHUB_TOKEN starts no workflows.
  • The workflow runs on a GitHub-hosted runner, never the self-hosted production one, and has dispatch and schedule triggers only.

Not run yet: the workflow's first real run will be after merge (Actions → Language server → Run workflow). The SOURCE.md sed was checked locally. It should find nothing to do, since #29 already brought it to v4.3.15.

Dependabot proposes each new NLPPlus for studio/server/requirements.txt, and the
Language server workflow rebuilds browserServer.js from each new vscode-nlp release
and opens a pull request for it. The Studio workflow tests both; merging and
deploying stay by hand.
