Docker for e2e-workflow

Workflow testing for frontend developement.

Copy docker-compose.yaml to other project, make some changes and use. See docker-expressjs-boilerplate for sample compose and test file.

Config File

The configuration file defines urls, viewport widths and page elements. A simple example is in modules/e2e/tests/e2e-workflow/default.js.

Docker Build

Build the docker image with:

$ docker build -t uwegerdes/e2e-workflow .

Usage

For the development time a gulpfile.js is included to generate css from less and restart the server.

$ docker compose up

Open the server address listed in the output. Read content.

Run the Docker container standalone

Run the container with:

$ docker run -it --rm \
  -v $(pwd)/modules/e2e:/home/node/app/modules/e2e \
  -v $(pwd)/fixture:/home/node/app/fixture \
  -v $(pwd)/key:/home/node/app/key \
  -v $(pwd)/results:/home/node/app/results \
  -v $(pwd)/modules:/home/node/app/config/modules \
  -p 29080:8080 \
  -p 29443:8443 \
  -p 29081:8081 \
  -e 'LIVERELOAD_PORT=29081' \
  --name e2e-workflow \
  uwegerdes/e2e-workflow \
  bash
