AI conversations can use account and workspace details, plus the current page, open tabs, and panel, as context. This setting is enabled by default and can be changed in AI settings.
The AI can open pages in a tab or split view, show supported panels, and prepare an issue report.
Report issues from the Help menu or Issues panel, optionally attaching a screenshot and recent error details.
Browse and manage submitted issues from the Issues panel, including updating status and linking GitHub issues.
Improvements
AI actions can update the app’s view, and account and view context is included in request size estimates.
…uote does not carry it
A claim often joins two sentences of one source and quotes only one of them, so the
entailment against the quote fails while the source supports the claim (calibration rows
q13, q104, q117). With sourceFallback on, any in-range claim whose quote check fails now
asks supportPrompt over the whole cited source. Both options off is unchanged.
…set may grow past 30
LABELS_FILE=heldout.jsonl re-judges the held-out rows; any other name exits 2, and the
runner still refuses to write either label file.
…es kappa 0.168 there
The calibration rows gave kappa 1.000 with the source fallback, the held-out run gives
0.168: the result was fitted to its 30 rows. RESULTS.md records the run, the variants,
the frozen choice and the two groups of false flags.
ANSWERS_LLM_VOLUME and ANSWERS_LLM_GLOB pick the answer model; the defaults are the
current Qwen3-4B volume and glob. A different answer model builds a label set the judge
was never tuned on.
…ervice always accepts, and the tests
The first commit added the account and view in four copies and shipped no tests. The view now sends the bare path (a query string can hold a reset token), no non-uuid page id (the service would refuse the whole run), and open_panel expands a hidden sidebar.
…tion, and ship their tests
A tab or CRLF in a report body reached PostgREST as a 502; redaction could
grow a title past its 120-character column; and a list with no limit read
Number(null) = 0 and returned one row. Tabs and line ends are normalised
before the check, every redacted field is cut to its column, and a missing
limit means 50. The suite proves each: the own-uuid check, the staff gate on
scope=all, and the cut after redaction each fail it when reverted.
… open pages and panels
A run that carries account: true gets an <account> block (name, username,
pronouns, timezone and local time, the run's workspace and role) and a
<view> block (route, layout, the active page and up to 8 tabs), both quoted
data in the user turn before memories; the data-boundary line names them and
stays last. The workspace name is told only to a live member of the run's
workspace, or for the caller's private one.
Three view tools change only what the user sees: open_page (a page the caller
may read; an unreadable page answers like a missing one), open_panel (a fixed
list) and open_issue_report (title 1..120, description 1..2000).
Tests: accountContext (escaping, order, boundary line, the workspace-name rule)
and viewTools (an unreadable private page of another workspace). Reverting the
escape, the workspace-name rule or the read check each fails them.
…and a screen share that always stops
issuesApi re-implemented fetch and so skipped the client's session refresh
and revocation report; it now goes through api.get/post/patch. The row type
is the table's snake_case row (the camelCase twins were never sent), so the
GitHub URL builder and the panel read fields directly. A capture whose play()
or toBlob() failed left the screen shared; the tracks stop in finally. The
guessed alias exports and the lint suppression are gone.
The GitHub URL test now builds from a full row with a workspace, a reporter
and a screenshot path, and checks none of them reaches the issue; the drop
order (errors first, then the description) has its own two tests.
…column, and a dialog heading
Checked in the browser: the panel repeated the sidebar's "Issues" title, and a
side-by-side list and detail left about 120px to each in the sidebar. The
panel now shows the list, or the picked report with a way back. The dialog
gets the visible heading other dialogs carry, and the redaction preview shows
only when redaction changed the text.
…b sorts with a compare
SonarCloud failed #167 on reliability: the stub's two bare sort() calls, and
the email pattern whose domain part and its dot traded characters. Labels now
exclude the dot; on 4000-character adversarial inputs the old and new
patterns both run in about 6 ms (inputs are length-checked before redaction),
and the same five sample addresses redact the same way.
The changes extend answer evaluation with configurable claim judging, resumable runs, and dataset checks. They add optional account and view context to AI requests, assistant tools for page, panel, and issue-report actions, and an issue-reporting interface with an issue-management panel.

Summary
Claim judging and traces services/osionos-ai/eval/answers/claimJudge.ts, services/osionos-ai/tests/claimJudge.test.ts
Claim judging adds quote matching, abstention detection, configurable checks, claim grouping, and per-claim traces. Tests cover the new rules and trace output.
The answer runner supports whole or claims judging and can resume saved question results. It updates label files and uses a shared CPU or Vulkan LLM startup helper.
Rejudging accepts configured datasets and claim-judge options, writes claim traces, and prevents output from overwriting supported label files. The changes also add label refresh, held-out checks, sample labels, evaluation results, and related tests.
Run requests carry optional account and view context. The service loads account details, formats context blocks, includes them in prompts, and counts their characters in estimates.
The client builds a bounded view from workspace state and adds account context according to the persisted setting. Chat and dock streaming requests pass the resulting context.
The application adds issue submission, an issue API and management panel, redacted error collection, and GitHub issue URL generation. Help, command, and activity-rail actions open the report form or issues panel. The bridge validates, redacts, creates, lists, and updates reports.

Merge Risk: Moderate · up to 2e03a
Resolve the run failure, evaluation-data, and issue-pagination concerns before merging. Lint is not blocked by the three reported warnings; the issues panel now accepts the server’s panel action.
Security architecture risk: Moderate · up to 2e03a
The new reporting and assistant features handle additional personal and workspace information. The inspected access checks constrain callers appropriately, but database protections, attachment retention, and deployed exposure are not fully established. No cross-user authorization bypass was demonstrated.
Retained concerns
No architecture-level concerns identified.
Security review details
Security Blast Radius
observed — Ordinary issue callers can create reports under their verified identity and list their own reports. Authorized admins can list reports without a workspace filter and update any valid report ID, so the intended staff scope spans reporters and workspaces rather than one tenant.
Trust Boundaries and Controls
observed — The caller-to-service-key transition is mediated by session verification, server-derived reporter identity, live workspace membership checks, and reporter-filtered reads. Global listing and mutation additionally require both the session admin claim and a fresh admin identity-row check that fails closed on lookup errors.
observed — Account and view values are escaped into quoted context blocks, and the system instruction treats those blocks as data rather than overriding instructions. These are contextual controls, not authorization: page-opening authority is independently checked against live readable-page rules.
Resilience and Maintainability Implications
observed — View-action replay suppression retains only the last 500 tool-call IDs in memory. It is not durable exactly-once execution, but the inspected actions navigate or open a dialog rather than committing a report. Screen-capture tracks are stopped in a finally block on both success and failure.
observed — Screenshot upload precedes report creation. If report creation fails, the submit handler displays an error and permits another attempt without performing compensating media deletion. Backend expiration or reclamation was not inspected, so residual retention and access remain unresolved rather than a demonstrated disclosure.
Hardening Proposals
proposed — Make the external issue schema contract reviewable, including direct-access grants, RPC caller restrictions, atomic daily quotas, and retry behavior. Validate it alongside route enablement rather than relying on successful in-memory persistence stubs.
proposed — Define screenshot-reader authorization and retention independently of text redaction. Consider staged uploads with expiration or explicit reclamation when report submission fails, and document whether possession of a media URL grants access.

The docs say that `llama-server` has an `--alias` option (ref: docs) I'm not sure how to use it. I am using `llama-server` with the `--models-dir` argument. how am I supposed to specify the 1:1 mapping of alias -> model id? I tried adding an alias, but the `/models` request did not list any aliases on any of the models
Answered by Dotoryman Sep 29, 2026
`--alias` on the `llama-server` command line is not a per-file `alias=model` mapping for `--models-dir`. In router mode, define the aliases per model in a models-preset INI file. For example:
version = 1
[chat]
model = /absolute/path/models/chat.gguf
alias = my-chat
[code]
model = /absolute/path/models/code.gguf
alias = my-code
Start with `llama-server --models-preset ./models.ini` (you can also keep `--models-dir` if you want its other models discovered). `/models` should then list `chat` and `code` as model IDs, each with its `aliases` array; requests can use `my-chat` or `my-code` as the model name. If you only need a friendly ID and no second name, name the INI section `[my-chat]` and omit `alias`.

If you only need a friendly ID and no second name, name the INI section `[my-chat]` and omit `alias`. The router preset docs describe one section per model, and the router code reads `alias` from each preset. The paths in `model =` should point to your actual GGUF files.

Thanks for the pointers, for posterity this is the exact config i went with
version = 1
[unsloth/Qwen3.5-9B-GGUF:Q4_K_M]
alias = Qwen3.5-9B
so i can now call `Qwen3.5-9B` instead of having to use `unsloth/Qwen3.5-9B-GGUF:Q4_K_M`</excerpt>

Pass the selected model identifier to the answer runner.
harness_start_llm starts llama.cpp with -m "$LLM_MODEL" and no --alias, so the server model identifier is the selected model path. Passing the fixed qwen3-4b value causes checkpoint runs to accept rows from a different selected model and can also send an invalid model identifier to /v1/chat/completions.

If a question keeps its ID and the count stays unchanged, the runner accepts a checkpoint from a different question set. It then reuses the saved answer, sources, and verdict and skips evaluation. Add a question-set hash to the header.

Include the loaded question set in checkpoint identity so checkpoints from
different questions cannot be resumed when IDs and counts match. In the answers
runner, compute a stable SHA-256 hash from the full `questions` data and add it
to `checkpointHeader`; update `CheckpointHeader` and checkpoint validation or
serialization as needed to preserve and compare this field.

Remove the cut-off tail from the file when openCheckpoint drops it.
openCheckpoint drops a cut-off last line from the in-memory map only. The file keeps that partial text without a trailing newline. The next appendCheckpoint call then writes its row on the same physical line as the partial text.
Resulting sequence:
A kill leaves {"id":"q2","answer": at the end of the file.
The run resumes. openCheckpoint drops that line in memory only.
The run finishes q2 and appendCheckpoint writes {"id":"q2",...}\n right after the partial text. The line is now invalid JSON.
A second interruption and resume finds cutOff === false because the file now ends with a newline. The merged line throws bad row on line N.
The checkpoint becomes unreadable after the second kill. This defeats the purpose of the checkpoint for long runs. A valid last line without a newline causes the same concatenation.
Rewrite the file without the tail when cutOff is true. Add a test that opens, appends, reopens, and opens again after a cut-off line.

Write label files through a temporary file and renameSync.
A direct writeFileSync to the target path can leave a partial file after a crash. These files hold the human labels. A truncated line also makes the next fillLabelFile call throw in JSON.parse. Write to a temporary file in the same directory, then rename it onto the target.

Guard the account context lookup so a database error cannot fail the run.
loadAccountContext rethrows every database error except 42P01 (undefined table). startRun awaits the call with no try. A non-42P01 error, such as 42703 (undefined column) or 22P02 (invalid uuid in a ::uuid cast), can therefore reject startRun. The account block only adds prompt context, so a failed lookup should not stop the run. Wrap the lookup and skip the block when it throws.

applyViewAction sets each tab's workspaceId from the active workspace. For a page from another member workspace, the tab gets the wrong workspace. Workspace-scoped readers then use that wrong value. FolderTabView reads folder children from s.pages[tab.workspaceId], so an opened folder from another workspace can show no children. The tab is also persisted with the wrong workspace through layoutSync.ts.
Use the page's workspace ID in the view payload and in the tab:
openPage must also return the page's workspace_id in data and in view(), so that view.workspaceId is present. Do not change the active workspace in this action. The current code does not establish that a workspace switch is required to open the tab.

Cap the message length before it reaches redactIssueText.
push redacts the full message and slices to MAX_CHARS afterwards. The unanchored email regex in redactIssueText backtracks quadratically on a long run of word characters that contains no @. A large error or unhandledrejection message can therefore block the main thread for a long time. Slice first, with a margin so a secret near the cut is still matched.
Proposed fix
- const text = redactIssueText(toMessage(value)).slice(0, MAX_CHARS);+ const text = redactIssueText(toMessage(value).slice(0, MAX_CHARS * 4)).slice(0, MAX_CHARS);

Review comment at @src/features/issues/model/errorRing.ts around lines 42 - 46:
Update push to cap the result of toMessage(value) before passing it to
redactIssueText, using a bounded margin beyond MAX_CHARS so secrets near the
final output boundary can still be redacted. Keep the existing post-redaction
MAX_CHARS cap and ring behavior unchanged.

redactIssueText(description) runs during each ReportIssueDialog render, and the description accepts up to 4000 characters. A no-@ description still makes the unbounded local-part group retry from successive positions, causing a measurable quadratic slowdown. Bound the email components.

The bounds keep failed searches linear and preserve redaction for ordinary email addresses. Overlong components may remain partly or fully unredacted, which is consistent with this function's documented best-effort behavior.

Review comment at @src/features/issues/model/redact.ts at line 34:
Bound the local-part and domain-label repetitions in the email pattern used by
redactIssueText, including a finite limit on domain labels, so failed searches
over descriptions remain efficient while ordinary email addresses are still
redacted. Keep the existing replacement behavior and best-effort handling of
overlong components.

Use a stable (created_at, id) cursor for “Load more”.
When the last row shares created_at with another report beyond the 50-row page boundary, IssuesPanel sends only that timestamp. The bridge then applies created_at=lt.<timestamp>, so every report with the same timestamp is excluded from the next request and is permanently skipped. Add an id tie-breaker to both the ordering and cursor predicate.

Update the IssuesPanel load-more flow to pass both the last issue’s created_at
and id through load and listIssues. Update the bridge pagination query to order
by created_at and id descending and use both values in a lexicographic cursor
predicate, so issues sharing a timestamp are not skipped.
