🦌 Mobs & Combat · Minecraft Mod · Forge / Fabric / NeoForge · 1.16.5 – 1.21+
Realistic wildlife · Ambient behaviour · Field guide
Naturalist fills the empty overworld with wildlife that behaves like wildlife. Bears fish at riverbanks, deer flee in herds, snakes hide in grass and strike if stepped on, fireflies drift over swamps at dusk. It is ambient, beautifully animated, and makes biomes feel inhabited.
- Dozens of realistic animals with biome-appropriate spawning
- Genuine behaviour: herding, predation, fleeing, sleeping and grazing
- Fireflies, butterflies and ambient insects for atmosphere
- New foods, drops and a field-guide item cataloguing species
- Handcrafted animations that raise the visual bar considerably
