I wanted to check if this can be build.
The current branch seems to have significant changes from the original release from 2012 and I don't know what were the reasons or goals of those changes. Building them did not succeed, in short time, so I went back to the 2012 release and tried to make it build using up to date toolchains. I also don't miss any functionality in the released version, so I am happy with that version anyway.

I used AI models for making it build and I did not check the output so far. I plan to do this.
I built a deb package and tried to launch it on an ubuntu vm. The core and the GUI launched. There was an issue about a password that was not provided and I stopped further tests.

I plan further cooking on this. I don't know where that leads. I want to let you know and since the build at least succeeds on linux I wanted to let everyone know.

I will finish all the current modifications and fix all this mess, I'll update to Qt 6 during the process. Then I think you can try using AI to port it to Linux
