CPU graph doesn't count logical core but only the physical core

Hi,

My CPU is a Ryzen 9950x with 16 cores and 32 threads.

The graph can only show 16 cores. If I change the values to 32 then the graph doesn't show the SMT one like it doesn't move.

Yes it does have activity on the SMT one.

The CPU barchart is intentionally a simplified physical-core view — one bar per physical core.
As of the latest pre-release, each bar represents the busiest thread on that core using max(T0, T1). The goal is to keep the chart clean and readable while still showing the “worst-case” load per core (great for spotting CPU-heavy moments during gaming/benchmarking).

That said, if you feel it’s important to see every thread (SMT/HT), I can add an optional Thread Mode later for full per-thread visibility. It’ll just take some time to design it so it still fits nicely in the module — especially since a 24-core / 48-thread layout is a lot of bars.

I’m always trying to improve this overlay, and I rely heavily on community feedback to decide what features are worth building next — so input like this is genuinely helpful. 👻

Yes I think you should add an option that people like me that want to see everything :)

I mean my thought is like: I pay for 32 cores and I see only 16... why lol

Another idea is instead of adding more bar is using the same bar for the SMT but with a different color.

For example:

Physical core: green
SMT: yellow

When they overlap then the color change for a darker one.

I don't know if it's possible but if yes it will keep everything neat and precise like your theme without bloating :)

Oh I just re-read what you said about the pre-release and I think you nailed my thought about it :) with the busiest thread on that core. I will try it when it's ready for AMD :)
