I'm an IT Support Specialist by day and a builder of retro-inspired software, homelab infrastructure, custom hardware, and strange little computer systems by night.

I hold the CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and CySA+ certifications, and most of my personal work lives somewhere between practical IT, defensive security, retro computing, and:

Veyllisto Interface Engine is an open-source, Python-based retro-computing interface and game-launching engine built around one simple idea:

Veyllisto is built around a modular Engine + Shell architecture.

The Engine owns shared systems such as the game library, Steam and emulator integration, metadata, favorites, recent history, physical media, configuration, and hardware integrations.

Shells provide completely different ways to interact with those same systems.

One Engine. Shared state. Multiple experiences.

Veyllisto v1.0 Shell Suite

Veyllisto v1.0 is planned to ship with four first-party interface shells:
