PodFoundry

PodFoundry is a reusable Terraform project for building consistent Podman servers and deploying rootless containers with systemd Quadlets.

The goal is to automate the complete Podman host setup so multiple servers can be configured in the same repeatable way.

Goals

  • Provision and configure Podman hosts with Terraform
  • Create dedicated rootless container users
  • Configure systemd lingering and user services
  • Deploy Quadlet containers, pods, networks, and volumes
  • Support multiple hosts and environments
  • Keep the project reusable and host-independent
