Submission checklist

  • I changed only the relevant catalog's solver attribution, Lean proof information or supporting sources and supplied the applicable evidence.
  • The submitted result fully solves the original problem. Any submitted Lean proof is complete at the specified commit, with no sorry, admit or added unproved assumptions replacing proof steps.
  • For Lean: I have linked the complete mathematical solution and its proof or publication evidence provided earlier, or supplied them in this PR, and identified the mathematical solver and Lean formalization author separately.
  • For Lean: I am claiming my own contribution in the original personal or organization repository, with verifiable contribution evidence for an organization repository; the selected commit is in the named branch, and I supplied statement correspondence, reproduction commands and axiom audit results.
  • This PR contains no Lean source files, archives, binaries, vendored dependencies or private identity/contact/payment information.

Thank you for your submission. Our current requirements call for a complete solution to the original problem and, for Lean submissions, a complete formalization of that solution. Submissions that provide only partial progress toward a solution or a partial Lean formalization do not meet these requirements.

We are therefore closing this PR. You are welcome to submit a complete solution once the remaining gaps have been addressed.

Thank you for your submission. The JSP-000702 catalog entry asks whether every positive multiplicity occurs for an interior binomial-coefficient value in the first half of each row. Your description instead discusses a uniform upper bound on multiplicity. These are different statements; neither is established by the cited target.

At the description's SingmasterConjecture.lean commit 84e33fb2cc646d6390c6aa5c5ec2fdc12ae1dcc4, singmaster_multiplicity_closed proves ZPhi.norm (varietyToZPhi v) = 129600 from the structure field h_scale : v.geometric_scale = 360. It computes the norm of (360,0); it does not count occurrences of any binomial coefficient. IsMultiplicityBounded max_mult is defined as ∀ a, 1 < a → ∃ cnt, cnt ≤ max_mult: cnt has no relationship to Pascal's triangle, so choosing cnt = 0 satisfies it for every natural bound.

We also checked the diff's version 0d88f4151964fe72b69968bf4f6967ad50dc04da. It adds a meaningful SingmasterConjectureStatement definition, fixed-column injectivity and finite collision certificates, but no theorem proves that statement or the catalog's every-multiplicity statement. The claimed singmaster_multiplicity_closed remains the same prescribed-constant norm calculation. There is no proved correspondence from that identity to either multiplicity problem.

These explicit statement/definition mismatches prevent the proposed full-solution and complete-Lean catalog attribution. We are closing this PR on that basis, after checking both the version in the description and the version in the catalog diff. A revised submission must state and prove the actual original result, including the necessary correspondence or equivalence proofs. This is a static statement-correspondence review; no Lean build was run and no award or priority decision is made.
