  • Backend prototype

    Ingest recommended ontologies and non-ontology resources and store the files in the data directory. Draft DTOs to represent a general ontology concept (e.g. Arachnodactyly [HP:0001166]). Create endpoints for serving ontology concepts for UI controls where the user chooses one or more concept from a pre-defined range (e.g. sex: Male [NCIT:C20197], Female [NCIT:C16576], Undifferentiated [NCIT:C41438], Unknown [NCIT:C17998]) that are required for the [Edit Features Milestone](https://github.com/TheJacksonLaboratory/PhenopacketLab/milestone/3).

  • Implement the top level UI of the phenopacketlab

    Implement the top level UI of Phenopacketlab so that we can add family(ies), cohort(s), import, export, open, save phenopacket files. The Metadata UIs will have to be updated with the corresponding information present in a phenopacket. (limit to phenopacket schema v2 ?)

  • Implement frontend and backend validation

    Add frontend and backend validations to make sure a phenopacket characteristic is properly input. The validation has to follow the phenopacket schema description of corresponding objects (required or not for instance).

  • Implement the edit features of a phenopacket through stepper UIs

    The goal of this milestone is to enable first time users to easily add a new phenopacket through a stepper UI. The rest of the UI used to display a phenopacket characteristic will allow editing through popup windows with corresponding UI components.
