Hey, I'm Tarek 👋

Full-stack software engineer — TypeScript by trade, Rust by obsession. I like small tools with sharp edges: CLIs, developer infrastructure, and the plumbing that makes AI agents safe to let loose on a machine.

🔭 Now — building agentstack, a local control plane for AI coding agents: one manifest for skills, MCP servers, and settings across 13 agent CLIs — trust-gated, firewalled, and audited. Nothing runs until it's trusted, and nothing trusted runs unobserved.

🛠 Before — years of shipping product across the stack: React, Next.js, and Remix front-ends, Node and Laravel back-ends, and client work like Mind Movers and Ivory Fashions.
