This project provides a simple way to simulate opening Counter-Strike 2 cases. It runs in your web browser. You do not need to install complex software or manage server files. The tool offers a realistic look at case odds and item drops using a clean, keyboard-driven interface.
You need a modern web browser to run this simulation. We recommend using one of the following:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
- Brave
Your computer requires a stable internet connection for the initial load. You do not need a high-end graphics card or a fast computer. The script consumes very little memory and works on most standard office or home laptops.
You can access the software directly through the official repository page. Follow these steps to prepare the tool:
- Visit the main project page at https://github.com/Tahaghn4940/cs2-case-opening-script.
- Look for the green button labeled "Code" near the top right of the file list.
- Click "Download ZIP" from the menu.
- Save the file to your computer.
- Right-click the downloaded folder and choose "Extract All".
- Open the folder once the files finish extracting.
After you extract the files onto your hard drive, you can start the application:
- Locate the file named
index.htmlinside the folder. - Right-click the file and select "Open with".
- Choose your preferred web browser from the list.
- The simulation loads in a new tab.
If you prefer, you can also drag the index.html file into an open browser window. The interface appears immediately. You can now interact with the menus using your mouse or keyboard.
The simulator includes a homepage, a dedicated case selection page, and a collection viewer.
The homepage acts as your dashboard. It shows your current balance and provides quick links to the cases. Click the buttons on the screen to navigate through the menus.
Select a case to begin opening items. This page displays the odds for every item within that case. Click the "Open" button or press the spacebar to trigger the animation. The script calculates the outcome based on the logic defined in the game files.
View every skin you obtain during your session on the collection page. This page tracks your progress and lists items by rarity. You can filter
