Day 1 - 2

I was motivated asf. It was around the last few weeks (about 2 weeks ago). I downloaded a 6hour YouTube course and I was LOCKED IN fr. School makes it difficult to do dev stuff because I gotta keep up with the syllabus. Anyway I was able to do the first hour and understood the basics.

Day 3 - 5

Idk what I installed or ran to fck up the project so I just deleted it and started over. I did not want to restart the course too so I just downloaded a 3h by Dave Gray (YouTube). The first 45 minutes or so were basically the same as the first course, so this was like active recall cuz that was when i started to get the pattern

Day 6

Same story lmfao :) This was when I tried to do the same thing I did last time when I fcked the project up. Fortunately, I did not find any more courses that seemed interesting and I did not want to restart neither of the previous two. This was when I decided to read the docs to learn and oh boy that was the best decision I ever took (which is why I said 'Fortunately').

Day 17 (day not as accurate, but it feels like it)

I decided to push my progress to github and deploy the current version. I am now at the Pipes section under the Overview in the docs https://docs.nestjs.com I have learned a lot from the docs than I have from YouTube videos. And that is why I now follow docs when I want to learn something in tech instead of watching someone explain all that he remembers from another video he watched which was of another person explaining all which he remembered... the loop goes on and on until you realize you dumb af for..... NAhh lemme shut up for now.

Week 3

Today is the day I have decided to lock in harder than EVER. My wifi router is really slow rn (6 March 2026, 17:52). Now I'm just waiting for it to work, otherwise I'll practice some calculus. I'm starting to lose my patience, so now I will just practice calculus to use up all this spare time. Oh wait.. The network is BACK AND FAST-WORKING!!! Aight I am at the part about "Pipes" in the overview section

I woke up and I decided to keep learning NestJS instead of practicing for my physics test today. And oh boy was it the best decision I have ever took. Over the past few weeks I did not have time to just sit and some coding due to the heavy school workload I had. But now finally I can say I have finished the overview section on the NestJS documentation and honestly it feels good. Learning is fun when you learn straight from the source instead of whatching endless tutorials that, 80%, don't even make sense.
