This repo must meet the highest practical security standards for client data exposure.
- Do not commit Protected Health Information (PHI) or electronic PHI (ePHI).
- Do not commit secrets, credentials, tokens, keys, or configuration that grants access to systems storing client data.
- All contributions must comply with HIPAA, the Privacy Rule, the Security Rule, and applicable state and contract requirements.
- Transportation, storage, processing, logging, and reporting of client data belong only in systems explicitly approved for that purpose.
- If you suspect unencrypted or sensitive client data has been exposed in code, docs, history, or artifacts, treat it as an incident: stop, report it, and do not attempt remediation alone.
