👋 I'm Soham Kakkar, a B.Tech student at IIT Jammu, working with backend systems systems and exploring systems programming.
I like building things that survive contact with real users — auth, reliability, deployment, the unglamorous stuff that decides whether software actually works.
I led the development and deployment for the J&K Police tenant verification system, Kirayedar, where I worked on designing secure workflows and ensuring the system held up in production.
Lately I've been going lower: memory, concurrency, OS internals. Turns out it's abstractions all the way down, and I want to see the bottom.
