Hi Sideloadly team,
Thank you for maintaining this excellent sideloading tool.
Issue:
Sideloadly v0.60.0 is still Intel-only (x86_64) on Apple Silicon Macs. On macOS 27 Golden Gate, it now explicitly requires Rosetta 2 to launch, with clear system warnings. On macOS 26 it ran more seamlessly without obvious Rosetta prompts. As Apple is ending general Rosetta support after macOS 27 (very limited in macOS 28+), native support has become essential.
Steps to reproduce:
MacBook Air M4 running macOS 27.
Download and open Sideloadly v0.60.0.
System prompts to install/use Rosetta.
Expected behavior:
Native Apple Silicon / Universal binary for direct ARM execution without Rosetta.
Additional info:
Device: MacBook Air M4
macOS version: macOS 27 Golden Gate
Sideloadly version: v0.60.0
In "Get Info": Kind shows as Application (Intel)
A native build would greatly improve compatibility for the growing number of M-series users. Appreciate any updates on this!
Thanks!
