📥 How to download and install

Follow these steps to set up the software on your Windows computer.

BetterDiscord modifies the local files of the Discord client. It does not access your account password or token externally. Keep your plugins and themes updated to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of Discord. Only install files from sources you trust.

🔧 Managing settings

You can disable BetterDiscord at any time using the uninstaller provided in the setup file. If Discord updates, you might need to run the installer again to patch the new version. The settings menu includes an option to check for updates automatically. This ensures your installation remains stable and functional.

If you encounter issues, verify that your internet connection is active and that your antivirus software is not blocking the installation. Most conflicts occur when the Discord client updates while the modification tool is running in the background. Close Discord completely before you run the installer to prevent errors.
