AMS v1.0 is a robust attendance management application designed to handle large-scale educational environments. It can efficiently manage thousands of courses, students, and instructors. The application features a user-friendly interface and provides comprehensive functionality for managing attendance, including:
- Student and Instructor Management: Add and manage students and instructors, assign them to their respective courses.
- Course Management: Create, delete, and manage courses.
- Batch Management: Create batches from courses, assign dates and times to sessions, and manage the number of students and sessions required for each batch.
- Attendance Tracking: View and manage the attendance records of registered students.
- Search Functionality: Easily search for students or instructors by name, phone number, or email.
- Locate the
database_schema_dump.sqlfile in the installation folder. - Use a MySQL client or command-line tool to import this file into your MySQL server. This will create the necessary database structure for AMS.
- Click on the settings icon in the application.
- Enter the database connection details: hostname, database name, and port (usually 3306 for MySQL).
- The application will automatically store your database connection details (username, password, and database name) on your device. These details are securely stored and not shared over the internet.
- After setting up the database and configuring the connection, run AMS as an administrator. The application requires administrative privileges to access the database successfully.
