LMP Auth Extension

A lightweight browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Opera that securely sends your YouTube Music session to the Lite Music Player (LMP) desktop app.

How to Install (Developer Mode)

1. Download and extract the .zip release.
2. Open your browser and go to the extensions page:

chrome://extensions/

opera://extensions/

firefox://extensions/

3. Enable Developer mode in the top right corner.
4. Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder.
5. Pin the extension to your toolbar!

Usage

1. Open LMP and click Sign In in Settings.
2. Ensure you are signed in on music.youtube.com in your browser.
3. Click the LMP Auth extension icon and press Send to LMP.
4. The desktop app will automatically log you in!
