Overview

• New package: axolotl-launcher-beta, the pre-release channel of Axolotl Launcher, as requested in [Request]: Axolotl Launcher Beta #1833.
• Kept separate from the stable axolotl-launcher manifest so the two cannot overwrite each other: it gets its own shim (axolotl-launcher-beta) and Start Menu entry (Axolotl Launcher (Beta)).
• Everything except version/url/hash/checkver is derived from the existing stable manifest, so extract_dir, the pre_install AppData migration and persist behave exactly as they already do.
• checkver reads the releases API and filters on prerelease == true, the approach already used by maaend-beta.json. checkver.github is rewritten by Scoop to /releases/latest, which only ever returns the stable release, and the default version regex drops the -beta suffix.

• bin/formatjson.ps1: no changes in content (output is byte-identical once CRLF is normalised).
• bin/checkver.ps1 axolotl-launcher-beta -ThrowError → axolotl-launcher-beta: 1.10.0-beta.5
• bin/checkver.ps1 axolotl-launcher-beta -Update → resolves 1.10.0-beta.5 and leaves the manifest unchanged, i.e. autoupdate reproduces the current URL and never picks up the stable release.
