RubySwmmImport

RubySwmmImport is a documentation and reference portal for importing EPA SWMM5 model data into InfoWorks ICM. It combines syntax-highlighted Ruby import scripts with a browsable, accordion-organized SWMM INP format reference covering project, hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, time series, controls, reporting, and map data sections.

It also includes ICM engine comparison tables, step-by-step import workflow documentation, and a global search dialog for navigating scripts and topics, styled after documentation platforms like GitHub Docs and Read the Docs. It is aimed at hydraulic modelers, SWMM users, and InfoWorks ICM practitioners who need both the code and the conceptual guidance for a SWMM5-to-ICM migration in one place. The frontend is React, TypeScript, and Vite with shadcn/ui components, and the backend is Express serving script, INP-section, comparison, and workflow data from in-memory storage seeded at startup.
