STEMMechanics delivers hands-on STEM experiences that inspire curiosity through engineering, coding and creative technology. Based in Cairns, Queensland, we run engaging workshops for schools, organisations and community groups.
Technology is part of how we teach, experiment and build. We use GitHub to develop our platforms in the open, share tools that others can learn from and give our community a place to contribute. Our repositories include the software behind our website and STEMCraft community, along with educational projects created for coding, robotics and digital-literacy programs.

Each STEMMechanics project has its own licensing terms. Please check the LICENSE file in a repository before using, modifying or redistributing its contents. Some projects are released under open-source licences—such as STEMCraft, which uses the GNU General Public License v3.0—while repositories without a licence do not grant permission for reuse. Unless a project states otherwise, its documentation, artwork, branding and other assets remain the property of their respective owners.

Young people, first-time coders, teachers, families and experienced developers are all welcome.
