I'm a BCA student focused on building practical skills in security operations — threat detection, incident response, and security automation. I learn by building: all projects below came from trying to solve real SOC problems with Python.

Python-based Web Application Firewall
A production-style WAF built from scratch in Python/Flask. Detects and blocks common web attacks (SQLi, XSS, LFI, command injection), enforces rate limiting, and outputs structured security logs for analysis. Deployed live on Railway.

Network Intrusion Detection System
A Python-based NIDS using Scapy that monitors network packets in real time. Detects port scans, brute force attempts, ICMP floods, and XMAS/NULL scans. Auto-blocks malicious IPs via Windows Firewall and sends Telegram alerts for HIGH severity threats. Includes a SOC-style dashboard and incident report generator.

Runs Nmap to detect open ports and service versions on a target, then queries the NVD (National Vulnerability Database) API to find real CVEs for each service. Results are displayed on a Flask dashboard with CVSS severity scoring, scan history, and export functionality.
