Hardware

Here is the Hardware I used for my project:

• Arduino Pro Mini
  • used to get the data from the IR-TX
• Arduino Mega 2560
  • controls the LEDs
• about 5m (or any other lenght) of WS2812b srip. Like this.
• a IR-Transmitter and receiver like this
• a good Power Supply.
  • I needed to use a 5V 20A supply for the 5m of LEDs. I used this one.

How I mounted it:

Arduino Pro Mini

• Out from the IR-LED: Pin 4
• Out to the other Arduino: Pin2, Pin3, Pin 5-9

Arduino Mega 2560

• In from other Arduino: Pin 36, Pin 34, Pin 22-30 (each second one)
• Out to the LEDs: Pin 51
