I'm a software engineer building infrastructure for AI in healthcare. I am the lead software engineer @ Infrastructure Team, T-CAIREM (University of Toronto), where I design and run Health Data Nexus β a cloud platform that lets researchers spin up secure, data-attached compute environments on sensitive health data.
I design and build scalable distributed systems that power data-intensive applications β from autonomous flight systems to enterprise health-data platforms handling complex workflows and real-time processing demands.
Expertise
- π€ MLOps β end-to-end ML pipelines: experimentation to production at scale, model deployment, monitoring & optimization
- π Distributed systems β microservices architecture, event-driven systems, high-availability & fault-tolerant infrastructure
- 𧱠Full-stack development β system design through production deployment
- π DevOps β CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure as code, cloud infrastructure (GCP & AWS)
Previously
- Cloud Engineer @ Avante β serverless AWS backend for IoT threat detection (Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SageMaker)
- Cloud Architect @ Cove Neurosciences (UofT-backed startup) β MEG/EEG data-processing backend on AWS
- Cloud Transformation Fellow @ Engineering for Change
- Graduate TA @ UofT β Software Design, Systems Programming, Data Modelling, Business Process Engineering
- Designed, built & flew an autonomous flight system on a custom programmable drone at the UTIAS Flight Simulation Lab
Tech I work with
I work on several private projects β T-CAIREM health-data infrastructure, clinical NLP systems, and freelance client work β and I'm happy to walk through them on request.
